Force India in confident mood

Racing Point Force India have a tough task on their hands for the rest of the season. The team reborn from the ashes of the Sahara Force India team scored 32 points in their first two races, but a blank in Singapore put a dent on their recovery. Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon collided with each other on the opening lap of the Singapore Grand Prix, with Ocon going into the barriers and out of the race and Perez struggling on, crashing with Sergey Sirotkin and finishing an eventual P16. The team will be keen to get back to points scoring ways as they hunt down McLaren, who are 26 points ahead of them in the Constructors’ Championship.
