Räikkönen Fastest But Vettel Struggles After Tap With The Wall

Kimi Räikkönen was fastest in Free Practice 2 at the Marina Bay Street Circuit as Scuderia Ferrari team-mate Sebastian Vettel was forced to sit out the second half of the session after hitting the wall. The Finnish driver set a 1.38.699 to beat Lewis Hamilton by just over a hundredth of a second but it wasn’t a straight forward session for the championship leader as he locked up twice, needing to go up the escape road at turn 14 and ran wide at turn one. Daniel Ricciardo, who was fastest in Free Practice 1, finished third quickest ahead of Aston Martin Red Bull Racing team-mate Max Verstappen.
