Kimi Raikkonen rejoins Sauber on two year deal

Singapore Grand Prix – Kimi Raikkonen has announced that he will rejoin his former team Sauber for 2019. Kimi Raikkonen has announced that he will join the Sauber team on a two year deal from 2019. The 2007 Formula 1 World Champion drove for the Sauber outfit in 2001 in his rookie year, before moving onto McLaren for 2002 to replace the retiring Mika Hakkinen. With Ferrari announcing that they will not be retaining Raikkonen as a driver for next season, it appears an agreement has been reached to move the Finn to Ferrari's ‘B-Team' in a straight swap with Charles Leclerc.
