Kevin Magnussen on Monza: 'Our race ended on lap one'

Haas F1 Team driver Kevin Magnussen has revealed his disappointment following a poor outing at Monza this weekend. The Dane qualified well, starting eleventh on the grid, not far behind his French team-mate Romain Grosjean in sixth. Magnussen's chances of a good race were stolen from him at the start due to those in front of him being involved in a pile up. 'It's been quite a long race for us', he said.  'We had some damage on the rear tire after the first lap.  I had to box for mediums and just went nowhere from there.' In contrast, team-mate Grosjean had a much better race: he managed finish where he had initially qualified. 'We were then doing the whole race on one set of mediums...
