Hamilton: I left Vettel space

After upsetting the odds and winning the Italian Grand Prix, Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton brushed off Sebastian Vettel's first lap spin as a racing incident that worked. On the opening lap title contenders, Hamilton and Vettel went side-by-side through the Variante della Roggia (second chicane) with the Ferrari driver coming out second best and from then on out of contention for a podium let alone a victory. He limited the damage by finishing fourth. At the sharp end, Hamilton hunted down Kimi Raikkonen in the other Ferrari, to the audible dismay of the Tifosi took the lead on lap 45 of 53 and went on to win his fifth grand prix in Italy, extending his championship lead over Vettel to 30...
