Hamilton misses F1 media day

Lewis Hamilton is missing Thursday's media day at the Italian GP. Due to what Mercedes have said is an "unavoidable personal commitment", Hamilton is not arriving at Monza until Thursday evening and the team have therefore cancelled his usual afternoon media call. The world champion has also been excused from the official driver autograph session. Hamilton, who leads the world championship by a reduced 17-point margin, will instead first be back in front of the F1 cameras in Friday morning's Practice One session at Monza.
