McLaren very impressed with Norris' adaptability
McLaren are impressed by junior driver, Lando Norris' adaptability as rumours grow that Norris will get a McLaren seat for the 2019 season. McLaren's Sporting Director Gil de Ferran reveals that the team are very impressed with Norris, who is currently a junior driver at the Woking-based side. Fernando Alonso, who is retiring from the sport at the end of the season, he has already been replaced by McLaren - with Renault driver Carlos Sainz Jr. driving the MCL34 next season. Sainz is still unsure who his team-mate will be at McLaren with the future of Stoffel Vandoorne looking increasingly unlikely as the season goes on.
