F1 set to introduce extra braking lights in 2019

After all teams unanimously agreed on the idea, new braking lights will be added to the Formula One cars in 2019, with two extra lights coming on each side of the rear wing, much like in the World Endurance Championship. The idea is that cars will be more visible in the rain, especially if a car is driving in someone else's spray, which makes visibility very low. Motorsport reported that the teams have agreed unanimously to introduce this in 2019, and that the decision will be made official during the next Strategy Group meeting.
