Leclerc: I'm happy the Halo was there

For many the Halo is an eyesore and not a popular mandatory addition to Formula 1 cockpits, but after a nasty multiple car crash at the start of the Belgian Grand Prix there are few that are not thanking their lucky stars for the introduction of the safety device which is sure to have saved a life or prevented very serious injury to a driver at Spa-Francorchamps on Sunday. Much has been written of the violent shunt triggered by Nico Hulkenberg's brain-fade moment, but the biggest relief was that Leclerc escaped unscathed with the scraped Halo on his Sauber testament to how terrible it might have ended on the day.
