Verstappen: We just need to find a bit more grip

Max Verstappen knows he and Red Bull are out-gunned at the spectacular Spa-Francorchamps with their underpowered Renault engines, but the young Dutchman believes that in race mode he has a fighting chance. At the end of day one of the Belgian Grand Prix weekend, Verstappen was asked to assess his chances for the remainder of the weekend, to which he replied, 'In qualifying, realistically fifth and sixth, but in the race, you never know what is going to happen. The long-run pace was not too bad, so I’m actually quite happy with that. We just need to find a bit more grip.'
