Banned Ferrucci keeps Haas development driver role

Belgian Grand Prix – Banned Formula Two driver Santino Ferrucci is to keep his place in the Haas driver development programme. The 20-year-old American driver was banned for two Formula Two weekends (four races) after being judged to have intentionally driven into Trident team-mate Arjun Maini. He was subsequently dropped by Trident and replaced by Alessio Lorandi, whilst Ferrucci later apologised for his ‘mental lapse'. Since then, he has been confirmed as a driver for Dale Coyne Racing in the final two rounds of this season's IndyCar Series.
