Banned Haas driver Ferrucci back behind the wheel in IndyCar
Banned Haas driver Santino Ferrucci will be back in single-seater racing in IndyCar. The American was handed a four-race ban in Formula 2 for deliberately hitting his teammate and driving with a mobile phone on his way to the grid in Silverstone. Ferrucci is set to compete in the final two rounds of IndyCar with Dale Coyne Racing, lining up alongside Sebastien Bourdais and Pietro Fittipaldi. “I am extremely grateful to Dale (Coyne) and everyone at Dale Coyne Racing for giving me this opportunity to get back behind the wheel of an Indy car in Portland and Sonoma,” said Ferrucci in a press release. “I’m also excited to be bringing my long-time sponsor Cly-Del on...
