Alonso wins 6 hours of Silverstone!

Fernando Alonso has won the 6 hours of Silverstone taking his record in the World Endurance Championship to three wins out of three. The Spaniard was partnered by Sebastian Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima as the #8 Toyota took another victory in the WEC Super Season. With Buemi at the wheel going into the final hour, a late race pass on the sister car extended the teams unbeaten record this season to three races following wins at Spa and Le Mans. The lead had swapped earlier on during the race after an issue with the #8 car meant that their teammate in the form of Kamui Kobayashi was able to snatch the lead back in the #7 Toyota having been behind in the early stages.
