Haas to halt current development as focus switches to 2019 car

Haas boss Guenther Steiner says the US outfit will be winding down the development of its VF-18 as the team switches its engineering focus to next season's car. Gene Haas' squad has made a step forward in 2018, positioning itself as a leading midfield contender thanks to the efficiency of its Vf-18 design and significant improvements delivered by Ferrari, its power unit supplier.
