Sainz looking to out with a bang at Renault

Carlos Sainz Junior has been announced at McLaren for 2019, but the Spaniard is committed to finish his time at Renault on a high, as he still has nine races to go with the French outfit. After Daniel Ricciardo was announced to be driving for Renault next season, Sainz's future was up in the air. The Spaniard was still under contract at Red Bull, but the Bulls looked to fancy Toro Rosso's Pierre Gasly more than a Sainz-Verstappen reunion. McLaren saw their chance and put pen to paper, signing the Spaniard on a multiple-year deal.
