Abiteboul says standard parts would get rid of cheating fears

Renault boss Cyril Abiteboul thinks that standarnisation on power units could benefit the FIA when trying to take care of the regulations. At the moment, Abiteboul believes that it's possible for manufacturers to find a way around the current fules. Ferrari's hybrid system has been the centre of much controversy this season, which was deemed as legal by the FIA - but it still receives plenty of attention from the Italian's rivals. "I don't want to create a debate here, but I think we need to think how we can help the FIA, regarding the enforceability of the regulations," Renault's team boss told Motorsport.com.
