Silverstone WEC: Alonso seeks third perfect weekend

Fernando Alonso this week announced his retirement from Formula 1 to explore other challenges in the sport, one thing not affected by his decision is his World Endurance Championship (WEC) campaign with Toyota Gazoo Racing which will run throughout the current SuperSeason, until the finale at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June next year. While his F1 colleagues enjoy the final week of the summer break, the Spaniard is fired up for this weekend at Silverstone, 'I am looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of a TS050 Hybrid again after a few weeks away.'
