Pirelli explain the impact of 18-inch wheels
The Formula One are set to increase the wheel size of the cars from sixteen inch to eighteen inch ones, which will make a lot of difference in the way the cars will drive, Pirelli boss Mario Isola has explained. It's not just the aesthetics that will change, although it will be a very different visual. And not one we're particularly fond of at that. However, changing the size of the wheel also changes the way the entire call will have to be built, as Isola explains.
