Mercedes shows caution with Spa and Monza tyre selections

Mercedes has chosen to follow a conservative approach to tyre selection for the upcoming Belgian and Italian Grands Prix, at power circuits Spa and Monza. Pirelli's range at the classic Ardennes venue will include the supersoft, soft and medium compounds. And the cautious Silver Arrows team has chosen just six sets of the supersoft red-rimmed tyres, while Ferrari's drivers will take on seven. Williams on the other hand will load up on the softest rubber, with an inventory of nine sets for both its drivers.
