Valtteri Bottas handed 10-second penalty for Daniel Ricciardo clash

Valtteri Bottas has been hit with a 10-second time penalty for his collision with Daniel Ricciardo during the closing laps of the Hungarian Grand Prix. The Mercedes driver first collided with Sebastian Vettel, which damaged his front-wing – the stewards chose not to take action in that instance – but then later collided with Ricciardo at Turn 1. The penalty doesn not impact the Finnish driver's result as he had a 23-second buffer to Toro Rosso's Pierre Gasly in sixth.
