Vettel edges Bottas but Mercedes struggle – FP3 Report

Hungarian Grand Prix – Sebastian Vettel edged Valtteri Bottas to lead the final practice session ahead of the qualifying hour in Budapest. On a cloudier – but equally as hot – day at the Hungaroring, Ferrari's Vettel set the pace with a 1:16.170, with the Ferraris looking much more stable than the Mercedes around the twisty circuit. Valtteri Bottas managed to control his Mercedes for long enough to set the second-fastest time – just 0.059 behind Vettel – ahead of the second Ferrari of Kimi Raikkonen, who failed to complete a clean lap on his qualifying simulation.
