Fernando Alonso admits he won't be racing in Formula One in 2021, when the new tyre regulations become applicable. McLaren driver Fernando Alonso has confirmed that he won't be around in F1 to drive with the new tyre regulations, when they hit the sport in 2021. Alonso was being interviewed by RaceFans.net and was asked what his opinions were on the plans to introduce new 18-inch wheels in 2021 and Alonso replied: "I think it's not a big thing. I will not be here in 2021, so I don't care."  The Spanish driver has been racing in Formula One ever since 2001 and earlier this season, he had his 300th race in the sport.
