BREAKING: Hamilton signs 2 year contract extension with Mercedes

Lewis Hamilton has finally signed a contract extension at Mercedes. He will remain at the team until at least the 2020 season. Toto Wolff has said since pre-season that Hamilton has pretty much signed, but has just minor details left to sort out. Nobody expected the delay to take almost 5 months.  Hamilton, 33, moved from McLaren to Mercedes in 2014 having been at McLaren since a very young age. He won his second World Championship in his first year at the Mercedes team and went on to defend it in 2015.
