McLaren expect busy Friday practice at Hockenheim

McLaren is expecting a much busier Friday practice as F1 returns to Hockenheim for the first time in two years. Having not raced on the circuit with the newer hybrid cars, teams will be eager to gather as much data as they can during the hour and a half sessions on the first day of the weekend. New sporting director Gil De Ferran said in his preview for the race that because of the lack of relevant data on the circuit with the current cars, it could lead to a busier than usual practice session for all the teams up and down the paddock.
