Giovinazzi to drive Sauber car in FP1

Ferrari junior Antonio Giovinazzi is to drive for Sauber in the first practice for the German Grand Prix this weekend. Antonio Giovinazzi will drive Sauber's C37 in FP1 on Friday ahead of the Hockenheimring's return to Formula One. This will be the Ferrari junior's first practice outing of 2018. The Italain made his racing debut last year with Sauber in the Australian Grand Prix. Marcus Ericsson will sit out of FP1, allowing Giovinazzi to be alongside Charles Leclerc - who is rumoured to be switching to Giovinazzi's Ferrari side. This will be Giovinazzi's first F1 outing since he tested for Sauber and Ferrari in the post-Spanish Grand Prix test in May. The 24-year-old Italian had seven FP1...
