Kubica: "Poor form makes it easier"

Robert Kubica says that Williams' poor form this season has made it easier for him as he missed out on a driving seat last season. Kubica was battling it out for the Williams seat but missed out to Sergey Sirotkin. He is still at Williams, though, as their reserve driver and has driven the FW41 in testing before. Kubica was questioned to whether he would rather be in the car than on the sidelines: "For sure, I would like to deny it, the fact is this is a great opportunity to live my passion and be in the paddock and to drive an F1 car," Kubica told Motorsport Week.
