Perez 'pleased' over Gasly penalty

Sergio Perez has praised the Silverstone stewards over their decision to penalise Pierre Gasly. Stewards are receiving a lot of criticism following the weekend from all angles. However, Force India's Sergio Perez appears to be a fan of the Silverstone stewards. Gasly and Perez were in a battle late on in the British Grand Prix and this led to the Toro Rosso man colliding with Perez and forcing the Mexican off the track. As a result, the Frenchman was handed a five-second penalty and this dropped him down into 13th place and Perez consequently finished in the points in P10.
