Vandoorne calls his McLaren car "undriveable" after qualifying in Britain

Stoffel Vandoorne says his McLaren was "undriveable" following his poor qualifying performance today. He failed to beat his team-mate, Fernando Alonso, for the 10th time this afternoon. The gap between the two papaya orange cars was nine-tenths as Vandoorne failed to make it out of Q1. Meanwhile, his Spanish team-mate named the session as his best of the season. Speaking after the session to Autosport, Vandoorne seemed confused as to why the car wasn't giving him the performance he was after. "Today was really difficult. The car was undriveable today, and we don't really understand why at the moment," Vandoorne said. "I think we were actually in much better shape...
