2019 British Grand Prix could be the last one!

A new deal between Liberty Media and the owners of the Silverstone circuit isn't close to being sorted. Chairman of the British Racing Driver's Club (BRDC), the body that owns the circuit, John Grant said he was "hopeful" a new deal would be agreed but both parties were "some way apart". "As things stand, 2019 could be the last British GP at Silverstone - or indeed anywhere," he said in a letter obtained by the BBC. At the moment, this years race could be the penultimate race at the venue with 2019's race being the final grand prix to take place on the current contract between Silverstone and F1.
