Starting Grid: Austrian GP – Vettel demoted
class="left relative"> Share Tweet Share Share Email Dominant Mercedes again booked front row for Sunday’s Austrian Grand Prix, this time a tiny change, championship leader Lewis Hamilton will start from second place on the grid after being beaten by team-mate Valtteri Bottas. Main title contender Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel initially qualified on third, but he demoted to sixth following being penalised for blocking Renault’s Carlos Sainz. Vettel’s penalty promoted his Ferrari team-mate Kimi Raikkonen, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and the Haas F1’s Romain Grosjean.
