Damaged floor hampers Verstappen's practice running
Austrian Grand Prix – Max Verstappen was one of several drivers to end the day with a car in need of repairs after a damaging day in the Styrian mountains. Competing at Red Bull's home event, Verstappen finished the second free practice session in fifth place, several tenths of a second off the pace of the Mercedes. The long runs looked to favour the Mercedes cars too, with the Red Bulls appearing to need more time to compete with their rivals.
