Mercedes to make engine decision on Friday

Mercedes will make their decision on whether to introduce their new-spec upgraded engine at the French Grand Prix on Friday. The original plan for the world champions was to showcase the engine at the Canadian Grand Prix. However, late reliability issues meant Mercedes had to delay the introduction until this weekend. Valtteri Bottas revealed to the media, that a final decision on the engine would be made on Friday. "We need to take some kind of new engine, because the other one is alreadu seven races old," Bottas said.
