Red Bull won't be Honda's works team

Red Bull may be moving over to Honda power next season but they won't be treated likes a works team with the Japanese manufacturer promising the 'same' power unit to Toro Rosso. Red Bull announced earlier this week that they would switch from Renault power to Honda engines for 2019 in a two-year deal. The Milton Keynes team will be joining their junior team Toro Rosso as one of the Japanese manufacturer's two teams but should expect any preferential treatment. 'We'll supply the same specification PU to both Red Bull and Toro Rosso,' Honda motorsport general manager Masashi Yamamoto said.
