Rahal: Alonso, Indycar is calling your name
Fernando Alonso has been urged to quit Formula 1 and drive in Indycars next year by Graham Rahal driver of Rahal Letterman Laningan Racing, one of the Stateside outfits McLaren chief Zak Brown is said to have visited during his recent trip to the Duel in Detroit Indycar race. Alonso's future in Formula 1 is not certain beyond 2018, reports of a deal to compete in next year's Indy 500 and possibly the Indycar series are being bandied about as possible alternatives for the double F1 World champion. Rahal, who lies sixth in the Indycar championship wrote on Twitter: 'Hey @alo_oficial, @indycar is calling your name. We would welcome your competitive spirit and insane driving talent. Come RACE...
