Sergio Perez felt Carlos Sainz Jr. deserved penalty for clash

Force India's Sergio Perez felt Carlos Sainz Jr deserved a penalty for their clash in the braking zone of Turn 1 during the Canadian Grand Prix. As Perez got a tow from the Renault of Sainz Jr, he moved to the right to go around the outside of Turn 1 to get the inside line for Turn 2, this, however, backfired as the Spaniard also moved to the right without realising Perez was there, and they collided. Once the Mexican driver had regained his composure in the race, he mentioned on the radio he felt Sainz Jr should have been black-flagged for the incident - despite this, the race stewards decided to take no further action.
