Villeneuve: It was very special
< ► > Formula 1 fans in the packed to capacity grandstands at the Canadian Grand Prix stood and cheered as Jacques Villeneuve lapped the track [very slowly] in the car his father Gilles used to win the race 40 years ago. Villeneuve drove his father's #12 Ferrari 312T3 from the 1978 world championship season during the driver's parade lap Sunday before the race. The 47-year-old drove around slowly, leading the current drivers who were in classic sports cars, waving to the crowd as he passed each grandstand.
