Canada GP FP2 summary and results: Verstappen wins again!

Max Verstappen has taken the double on Friday in Montréal, as the Dutchman took FP2 after taking the earlier Friday session as well. Mercedes were quick to grab the one-two in the opening twenty minutes of the session, with most teams opting to go for supersofts, the hardest compound available in Canada this weekend. Then came Max Verstappen, the leader of FP1, to spoil that party. He was constantly trading blows with the Mercedes cars, with the one car taking the lead after the other. Racing was shortly suspended for about ten minutes as Carlos Sainz lost the rear-end of his Renault and put his backside into a wall.
