New circuits must deliver ‘fabulous exciting races'

In the wake of a boring Monaco GP, F1 boss Chase Carey acknowledges that any new circuits added to the calendar must be able to deliver 'great' races. Formula 1's recent visit to Monte Carlo failed to wow as the processional race saw the top six finish as they started. A lack of action has led to calls for the race to be scrapped, something that is unlikely to happen given Monaco's history on the F1 calendar. Carey, though, has vowed to only adding exciting venues when including new races on the calendar.
