Head of aerodynamics leaves Williams F1
Williams F1 has reshuffled its resources Williams has confirmed its head of aerodynamics Dirk de Beer has stepped down from his role at the former world championship winning operation. De Beer’s departure arrives amid a dismal start to the season by the Grove-based squad that has yielded only four points from six races. The aerodynamic expert, who joined Williams from Ferrari in 2017, played a key role in the design of this year’s car which has struggled to perform. His departure follows that of chief designer Ed Wood, who left the team due to personal reasons.
