Hartley believes Toro Rosso are "unlocking potential" in the car

Brendon Hartley is confident that his car is improving as the team are getting to grips with the 2018 regulations, with upgrades just around the corner. Hartley was running in P11 when he was taken out of the race by Charles Leclerc, who had faulty brakes, in one of the more spectacular crashes of the season. Despite having only scored one point this season, the New Zealander thinks that the team had a positive weekend. “It had been a strong weekend,” he said. “Not really much to show for it unfortunately.” Toro Rosso have an engine upgrade on the way for the Canadian Grand Prix next weekend, which will be Honda’s first of the season.
