Perez blames pit crew for disappointing result in Monaco

Sergio Perez believes his long pit-stop ruined his chances of points in Monaco. The Force India driver finished 12th after qualifying in 9th. His team-mate, Ocon, finished 6th. The fastest outside the top 3 teams.  Perez entered the pits on lap 21, but his pit-crew struggled to change his right-rear tyre costing him valuable time. He returned to the track stuck in traffic making his problems even worse.  “I am disappointed because we didn’t get the result our pace deserved,” Perez said. “We had a problem at the pit stop and this completely ruined our race.
