Chief designer Resta leaves Ferrari

Ferrari has this morning revealed that its chief designer, Simone Resta is leaving Maranello for another F1 team. A brief statement read: Scuderia Ferrari informs that on May, 31st, Simone Resta will leave his position as Head of Vehicle Project Coordination at Scuderia Ferrari, to take on a different role with another F1 team.' Resta, who was born in Imola, joined Ferrari as a designer from Minardi in 2001. In 2006 he was appointed Head of R&D and Innovation before being promoted to Deputy Chief Designer in 2012 and subsequently Chief Designer in 2015. It is unclear who will replace him or where he is heading, but the news that he has just a few more days with Ferrari is sure to lead to...
