Verstappen handed additional ten-place grid penalty for Monaco GP

Monaco Grand Prix – Starting from the back of the grid, Red Bull have elected to fit a new MGU-K to Max Verstappen's RB14 – their third of the season – for the Monaco Grand Prix. Following Verstappen's crash in free practice three – and subsequent inability to participate in qualifying – the Dutchman will start the Monaco Grand Prix from the back of the grid. Owing to a gearbox change, Verstappen's had already been handed a five-place penalty prior to qualifying. This meant that, had he competed in qualifying, he would've lined up no better than sixth on the grid.
