Pirelli predict one-stop strategy for Monaco GP

Pirelli is predicting a one-stop strategy for the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday. The Italian tyre manufacturers have introduced a brand new compound known as the hypersoft tyre however despite being the softest compound, a one-stop is still the way to go. Pirelli’s motorsport manager Mario Isola said ahead of the race that although the new compound was available to teams, a single stop could be the most popular route to go. “We’ve seen a lot more degradation on the softest compound here than we have in previous years, exactly as expected,”  “We also saw some front-left graining, especially in the morning, which is also normal in Monaco. “While the...
