Day 1: Barcelona post-race F1 test results

Max Verstappen set the fastest time through the opening day of mid-season F1 testing (Spanish Grand Prix post-race test) on Tuesday at Barcelona. Verstappen steered his Red Bull to a lap of 1 minute, 17.538 seconds at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Renault’s Carlos Sainz and Sebastian Vettel for Ferrari clocked the second- and third-quickest laps. Spanish Grand Prix winner Lewis Hamilton made sixth fastest and and put in the most work of any driver with 151 laps in his Mercedes.
