Bottas aiming to bounce back from Baku disappointment

He might well be leading the championship had it not been for some terrible luck so far in 2018 but Valtteri Bottas has admitted that he has some "catching up to do" to gain back points lost in this years world championship fight. Bottas is up against some of the stiffest competition of this generation in teammate Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel but the Finn has upped his game and is unlucky not to be leading at this stage. He himself knows that a strong result is paramount in Barcelona to make up lost ground on his rivals. “Qualifying was good for me but not quite perfect – and it ended up very close on the final times,” said Bottas. ...
