FIA ban Ferrari halo-mounted mirrors

Ferrari have been ordered to remove their halo-mounted mirrors on the SF71-H, after the Spanish Grand Prix, following protests by rival teams, questioning the concept's legality as they also feature winglet add-ons that have been questioned. FIA race director Charlie Whiting and technical delegate Jo Bauer investigated the setup on the Ferrari halo and deemed it illegal. The FIA confirmed that mirrors could be mounted from the halo after the Chinese Grand Prix, but maintained stringent guidelines and within the technical regulations.
