Alonso: McLaren has to hope other teams "don't deliver"

McLaren's Fernando Alonso is travelling to his home country of Spain for the Spanish Grand Prix fresh after a win in his maiden WEC race, but he fears that for his F1-team to do well, the competition has to be slacking. McLaren were expected to do very well this year with their new engine partners Renault, but the team has struggled to meet expectations early on in the season. Alonso has been somewhat of a saving grace as the Spaniard always manages to make up for the lack of qualifying pace in the races, finishing in the points every time so far this season even though the team has yet to make it to Q3 a single time.
