Spa 6-Hours: Alonso's #8 Toyota inherits pole position

Toyota Gazoo Racing #8 of Fernando Alonso, Sebastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima will start from top spot on the grid for Saturday's Total 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, despite ending the qualifying session in second place behind the sister car. The #7 Toyota of Kamui Kobayashi and Mike Conway set a combined average lap of 1:54.488s to grab pole position. However, all of the times were subsequently cancelled after the Fuel Flow Meter was incorrectly declared and the #7 TS050 will start the race from the pitlane. The car was deemed by the stewards to have run with an incorrect declaration of Fuel Flow Meter which was a breach of Article 6.1.4 of the Sporting Regulations. The #8 Toyota TS050...
