Ricciardo leads Raikkonen as Mercedes struggle – FP2 Report
Azerbaijan Grand Prix – Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo topped the second free practice session ahead of Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen and team-mate Max Verstappen. Both Red Bull and Ferrari appear to have the upper hand in qualifying and race trim after out-pacing Mercedes throughout the FP2 in Baku. The unique conditions of the Baku City Circuit meant that several drivers attempted multiple ‘flying laps' on the same set of tyres whilst completing their qualifying simulations. Ricciardo's second flying lap of a 1:42.795 was less than one tenth of a second faster than Raikkonen, and just over one tenth of a second faster than team-mate Verstappen.
